Why He Became an Orthodontist
Dr. Alkhoury got his first exposure to orthodontics when his 17-year-old sister got braces. He witnessed her smile’s improvement and transformation day by day. In the process, she also became more talkative and social and gained more confident after treatment. This life-changing moment motivated him to pursue orthodontics for his own smile, and eventually help others in their smile transformations. Today, he is still thrilled with the career he chose.
Where He Studied Dentistry & Orthodontics
Dr. Alkhoury earned his dental degree with honors from Boston University. He then completed a residency in Advanced Education in Orthodontics as well as Dentofacial Orthopedics at New York University. Over the years, he’s become well respected as a practitioner, especially by the American Academy of Orthodontists. He truly stands out from his peers because of his exceptional care and commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry. He’s an active member in the following:

What He Likes to Do Outside of the Orthodontic Office
When he’s not straightening smiles, Dr. Alkhoury enjoys being with his family, cheering for the Red Sox (his favorite baseball team), and traveling around the country.
